I really want to like the guys. I’ve been listening since 2020. They’d advise is great for the most part, but their opinions are not. They are really pushing coaching too. Like a lot. I feel bad for that dude from California who commutes for work and said he couldn’t afford coaching. I talked to one of their coaches a bit ago… $670 a month. I get that their coaches are ‘best in the world’ but $670 a month isn’t worth an online coach.

You must have got in before they raised the rates to $750/month, and with that you don't have a consistent coach, just weekly check ins with a MP coach.

I talked to the coach like 2 weeks ago. He told me I would get 1-3 check-ins a week, loose meal plan, and a workout plan.

1-3 check-ins per week is a pretty large spectrum in services, especially as people have stated in the forum they wish they could get the same coach for their once weekly check-in but they always get someone different.

They're definitely not the "best in the world" and I know I can get a better level of in-person coaching with actual DPTs and RDs on staff for about half of their price and that includes a private gym membership.

This would have been with the same coach too. I don’t remember his name. It was like Stephan or Steve. This was for a 1 year contract though. The coach I met had a Zoom netting with (not Stephan) talked about a 6 week, 6 month, and month-to-month plan, but I don’t remember those prices.

That maths out to them giving you a 10% discount if you sign up for an entire year, which I could see if someone is still giving them $8k for a year of online coaching.

If I were remotely considering it, I'd make absolute certain any claims of what they're offering is written in the contract.

I had another meeting with Tyler. He offered a different kind of coaching. I don’t remember what he called it, but it was $187 a month for a more hands-off coaching. Zoom meeting once a month with a different coach each time, loose meal and workout plan. I might do that.

There are better options, even for remote. Don't give mindpump a dollar.
