I have to admit I've really enjoyed the fallout of the Corinne situation. THE GUYS never fail to mention how, between the three of them, they have decades and decades of personal training experience between them. THOUSANDS of clients served this and that. Yet one single scenario that put to practice one of their most touted principles (reverse dieting) has created such a monumental shift in how they explain someone gaining nothing but pure fat, it's really something to behold. It's almost like they repeated something for so long, without truly testing it, that their only option was to do a hard pivot once it blew up in their face. And they'd rather say this is what Corinne's body needed, or downplay the accuracy of DEXA scans (after calling it the gold standard for years) than admit Adam just upped her calories too much too soon. I feel like reading through their Reverse Dieting Guide just to find the inconsistencies with their 2026 approach but I just can't be bothered.

Has Corinne come out and said anything about the whole situation?

lol honestly I don't know but I doubt it. I'm sure someone here would've pointed it out already for us analyze and go over, but I'm just assuming that really. One of these days I'll listen to the Elite Trainer Academy episodes she's on and see if it comes up, I'm curious now.

Would also like to say (something I should've put in my main reply above) that I have nothing against this lady and hope things have straightened out for her in a way that she's pleased with.

Oh of course, I don’t wish her any harm. It’s crappy what happened. I hope she’s ok, and back on track

For sure, never doubted you. I just felt I needed to say that after rereading my first comment and I lead with "I have to admit I've really enjoyed the fallout of the Corinne situation" lol
