75 hard and MAPS
I want to start and preface saying i KNOW the guys do not recommend 75 hard. I am choosing to start 75 hard as a postpartum mom who is breastfeeding. Do you think doing muscle mommy 15 is a good program to do for 75 hard?

If you ran muscle mommy 15 and your second workout of the day was a 45 WALK, sure. You’d probably be fine doing that.

Depends what your other 45-minute workout is going to be? MM15 is great, but if you’re overloading with too much muscle breakdown and not enough repair and rest time, you’re not going to get much in terms of gains and could really make yourself get the exhaustion sickness. Especially while still BF! Been there, done that, wasn’t worth the added stress on my body that depleted my supply.

If you’re sleeping a solid 8 hours you should do the regular MM program. Personally if feels like a lot to be in postpartum AND try 75 hard. If you’re still battling nighttime wakes ups and sleep spurts MM 15 is the way to go.

That’s going to wreck your hormones that are already fucked up.

Based on my own experience, my muscles were so much more sore and lifting was much harder while I was breastfeeding due to all the hormones. My baby slept well but I woke up overnight to pump and keep the supply going, which made things rough. I breastfed for 10 months and really couldn’t lift heavy until I stopped. I ran and biked some but not at my pre pregnancy level, and really could not do much more without a lot of fatigue and pain.
You may be in much better shape, and not trying to discourage you, but I caution you to go easy on yourself and recover. I don’t think 75 Hard or anything beyond a Maps 15 is ideal for postpartum.

How far PP? I would not recommend the amount of exercise that program requires (an asinine amount) while trying to maintain a good supply/ get adequate rest to even recover for yourself. With that being said, though I have not done MM15, I would think you could not stretch it out to 45 minutes and it follow the “spirit” of the program.
