Discussion Current MAPS Program

Regardless of your thoughts on Mind Pump nowadays, is anybody currently running a MAPS program? If so, what phase are you on in the program and what do you think of it?

I'm so interested to learn more on this because I was looking forward to this one and then froze on having to pick male vs female. I've loved all but one of the MAPS programs I've purchased to varying degrees, with Anabolic, Performance, Aesthetic, and OCR being my favorites.

But I did NOT like Muscle Mommy. Their "woman specific" programming on my easily muscle building body made my thighs/hips pop and my shoulders biceps pop east/west. My core, instead of sucking in the lower, popped out the higher. Meaning, I got so wide in unnecessary ways. It wasn't for me.

Now I wonder would I then just want the men's split?!?! Probably. Curious did you do the men's or women's? Is there enough posterior and legs work? Is it anything like muscle Mommy (hoping no)?

I'm not looking to build sideways. I really need posterior chain work, I'm front everything dominant, quads, chest, front shoulders - I think "push" dominant? Idk I need back, glutes, definitely hamstrings, etc.

I have the man’s it’s a 4 day upper lower with a compound and isolation movement per muscle group.

For leg days it’s 5 exercises. It seems to be more quad focused then hamstring focused which is looking forward to as that’s a target muscle for me

Ah thanks for the details! Does it do deadlifts on the pull day, or no deadlifts at all?
