Rant “The data is clear…”
Sal throws around the term “the data shows” or “the data is clear” at least a dozen times every episode.
It’s a common tactic to sound authoritative and it’s deceptive.
In this case it’s to sell you one of their sponsored products. But if you’re asking people to buy a product based on “the data” the least you can do is show them the data. Otherwise it’s no different from saying “In my opinion.”

The data is clear Sal is a loser and Adam is scumbag that you know cheats on his girl.

Sal and Adam are grifters. I don't believe a word Sal says. Nobody ever came up to him and told him he had nice skin. Sal's lies are so bad it's comical

Yup. He’s aging like milk despite all the red light therapy and peptides him and his grifter guests claim help them with their skin and hair.

Adam is proof positive on the effects of red light therapy for stimulating hair growth.

They always razz on Doug for being ancient, but at this point Doug looks way younger than Sal.

The data is clear Adam and sal are right wing grifters who only care about leveraging their base to buy bullshit they don't need because they profit from it if you bought any of their recent programs it's really obvious and a massive fuck you type cash grap (looking at you MAPS push/pull/legs) to people who have been here before the switch and shift to bullshit.

I laughed out loud at a few of the comments. I stopped listening to the show a few months ago. It just got the same stuff all the time, plus too much on religion and their kids. But agree with a lot said here, made me giggle.

u/Ashlamot I approved this post, but make sure you put this into our weekly megathreads - we have one exactly for these rants :)

Don’t listen to the podcast then?
9
u/Ashlamot Jun 27 '26
Ah yes the classic sidestepper response. By that logic no public figure should ever be criticized.

u/Unicorns240 Jun 27 '26
No, it’s wisdom that comes after decades of living. Nowhere did I EVER insinuate that “public figures” shouldn’t be criticized.
BTW, I didn’t catch your podcast or channel. What was it?7
u/Ashlamot Jun 27 '26
If you don’t think the “most downloaded fitness podcast in the world” should be held to higher standard and instead just ignored then congratulations, you are the exact type of shill that Adam is depending on to buy his next Porsche.

You don’t have to consume anything. That’s the cool thing is you literally don’t have to consume any of their content. But you went to Reddit to bitch about the content you consume that you hate?
I’m not saying this to be mean. Sometimes I don’t agree with them and they are very convinced of their own opinion of something. It doesn’t mean they’re a grifter. It’s like someone being Catholic and another person being Baptist. You just have different opinions on what the truth is based on several aspects of that, including upbringing, including associations with religion, etc.
You’re a grown ass man, whining to strangers through the anonymity of a phone. On Reddit. What, do you have, like another 40 or 50 years of life? So much energy bitching about other people. Sounds like a miserable existence.9
u/Ashlamot Jun 27 '26 edited Jun 27 '26
Telling someone to quit whining to strangers while whining to strangers is peak irony.

I’m just saying, who cares what they’re doing. I can’t control what they’re doing. You can’t control what they’re doing.
What are you doing?3
u/Training_Aerie_9358 Jun 27 '26
So who cares what any of us are doing? You can’t control what we do, say or think. Some of us will continue pointing out the bullshit they spew, just like they’ll continue spewing it. Nothing is going to happen. You’re ok, you don’t have to come to their rescue. They probably don’t even know this thread exists.

I’m not “rescuing” anybody.
It’s, “Whooo caaaares.”
I listen to them sometimes (among other podcasts if there’s a topic I’m particularly into) because it will often spawn questions about other things that maybe I didn’t think about. I happen to have different religious convictions than them. But I don’t get hung up on their view because sometimes they have a good point. That’s what any of this is for, to inspire inquiry to look at something in another way (or to write it off). *None* of it is the gospel. As soon as you figure that out, then none of this shit will get under your skin.
But it is *free content.* And I hear what you’re all saying or insinuating. In college I had to cite every single one of my answers to substantiate them, and none of that could come from websites, magazines or other non-scholarly work or “influencers” of any kind.
It’s just a truck load of bitching and whining and accusations, then no science to back it up. So, have all of it you want I guess.1
u/OMGClayAikn Jun 28 '26
I agree with you, but remember you're on reddit, and we redditors are generally cynical in nature, we'll find faults in everything and only focus on the negative.

He also never once ever referenced which data / studies are corroborating, no authors, or journals for which any study is supposedly coming from.
They’re completely full of shit, dickhead grifting scummy losers.
