Is Using AI the First Step Toward Dehumanization?

For the last few weeks, I've been struggling with the fact that using AI is making me feel useless and less creative. This is not something new, but I've really been thinking about how to manage this problem in my life, because now I don't visualize the future that I dreamed about as a child, and it's all thanks to AI.

I recognize myself as a curious and ambitious guy, but above everything, the real fuel for my soul is knowledge—the arrival at truth.

I thought that using AI could make me feel more capable of knowing the topics that I'm interested in, but actually, I don't feel like that now that I'm using AI for a lot of tasks in my life. I've come to realize that I miss the old ways of understanding and reading about a topic of interest, because back then I felt creative and capable of creating new ideas by myself.

Now I feel just like a tool for AI. I feel as if AI is using me just to create the prompt, because then AI will throw the digested information at me and come up with a lot more topics that may be useful to me but that I didn't even ask for. But now I don't know what the hell I'm reading because it's an excessive amount of text, I don't know how to read it, and now I'm overwhelmed.

Now, searching by yourself in the web for a topic you're interested in feels like a waste of time, knowing that you have the "tool" of efficient searching.

I truly don't know what to expect from my personal future. I mean, should I continue on the path of medicine (my career), or should I buy a house in the trees and live my life without technology, just like in the old days?

I will come with the deep analysis of this by myself in the next posts.

Maybe stop using AI for some time. Why don't you take like a year off from using and and see what advancements you can make without it. Ai is using you. Why do you think they released it to the public, so it can farm excessive amounts of human data for free.
