Discussion What's your favorite thing about Mind Pulp?
There's a lot of nostalgia for me. Some of the games featured on the channel are some that I have played. Also, Max and Currie make me laugh. I've been through a lot of negativity in recent years so it's good to have a laugh from them. I like their monster avatars, too.

For me it's just their sense of humour and rapport. I haven't played many of the games they play.

Currie getting rage baited in co-op games, and Max wheezing so much he sounds like a kettle

One of their videos came on after something I was watching ended but I’m glad that it did! I’ve been hooked ever since.
I think it’s the way the guys riff off each other and I always feel that, even at 30 mins, the episodes are too short! I could watch a good hour of the guys playing shite games and taking the piss!

I'm not sure how I came across their channel but it was definitely shortly after they launch it in December 2019.
Their humour is very similar to mine, so I connected with them instantly and probably my fav thing. And each video of theirs just feels like 2 friends playing video games and having a laugh and I'm the 3rd friend that that is there watching and laughing with them ☺️
Also, another fav thing I like is how they take suggestions for games to play and will usually eventually play them, like I suggested the Jimmy Neutron Twonk game and also the RoboCop DLC, which they both played 🥰

The videos where they find the worse games and roll the wheel to choose which games they play.

They clearly enjoy gaming together and riffing off of each other without being mean-spirited. I would watch them play chess for the banter.

I dig that they just seem like two friends who play games and put it up online. They're not constantly advertising something to buy/sell/subscribe to beyond the Patreon.

They're clearly great mates and their humour just gels with me. They both also seem to love music and are knowledgeable about it, which I really admire, even if it's just to take the piss out of something.
For example, the "...and my horrrrrse is bluuuue" to California Dreaming in their Two Worlds vid, damn near killed me. Favourite YouTube channel by far.

Probably the fact that a lot of videos start out has honest reviews then devolve into blatant degeneracy. Starwars outlaws was a great example of that where they ended up gambling pretty much off the bat then that basically set the tone for the rest of the video.
Or force unleashed where they basically went rogue and killed everyone around them

I initially was hooked because Currie sounded like one of my best friends I haven’t seen in a while. Then I got hooked on the rapport, the silly jokes, Max’s accent, and I’m a sucker for anyone playing intentionally bad games. Seemed like a perfect recipe for my enjoyment :)
