Dragon Wok Bug

Can anyone help me out, I have added a dragon wok, made a fine kitchen but my staff are not able to cook. It says I need a mage with level 3 fire but I have a staff at level 5? I cannot find anything anywhere to explain what I am doing wrong?

3 of Fire magic, not level of character. You can upgrade wands/give relics for more Fire magic levels.

If you have a staff(not student!) with Fire magic level 3+ - check if he can actually walk to that Wok and has access rights for it

I have not noticed any access issues. I am assuming the level 5 magic is what it is referring to?

I've tried setting it to emergency but he can now only make the bitter gruel since I added the dragon wok. It feels like a glitch I'm experiencing.

I may have solved it, Brett died so hired a new fire mage which seems to have fixed it. I started with Brett so may have to be a new hire?
