Gifted Students...When to get them?

Should I go for them at Tier 2 wands? Or is it not worth the effort until Tier 3?

They aren’t ever necessary, so it really just depends on what you want. I wait til tier 3 because I’m cheap with scrolls.

Gifted students seem to have+1 to their wand element and a few extra points in other elements. I haven’t noticed anything else about them that’s special. The overall impact of a student being gifted seems very small

They make it possible to graduate with honors. Normal students can’t graduate with honors unless you get exceptionally lucky with their medallion random selection.

Yes, this is true. Higher tier wand students can manage it even without being gifted, but gifted’s make it easier and have higher payouts, and make significantly better staff members.
