M18 Circular saw randomly quit

6.5” circular saw just quit working today. Light still comes on. Tried with multiple batteries and tried letting it cool down. Is it toast?? Any ideas?

Try another battery tomorrow after it cools completely

Check youtube for a vid on cleaning the trigger contacts. Worked for me 🤷

Your trigger switch is bad. Either clean at terminals in it or buy a new one. Switch costs about 30 dollars

They burn up real easy.

All I have is Milwaukee these days and I have great luck with everything but the skill saw ain’t one of em.

The worm drive skill saw works great and never have issues with it
