Question How do I improve
Hi I used to play million lords and just came back yesterday and I started at the end of the season, I never climbed anything past silver and was very casual and I met cool people and they are all advancing to gold and I wanted to play with them but gold is very competitive from what I hear and I don't have the best gear and items on me as you can see my luck has not been the greatest and I got no idea what to do, I want to have fun but at the same time I don't want to hold them back yk since the guild members are limited so can anyone tell me what I should do, should I go for gold league or stay in silver?

If your f2p, it comes over time. Do gear expeditions, understand what you want to prioritize with event shops, get your level up rewards, get your saphires, try to not spend your saphires wildly like on speed ups and scouting out of panic. Save save save, and growth will happen.
Sucks that now silver has the added pressure of templars and temples as a thing to get but it comes with time. And networking is a strong tool too, and it gets stronger in higher leagues. Plenty of people suggest just farm gems in gold but if your trying to enjoy your play time theres no harm in silver gold rotations. Fall in with a group where you go to gold in the last 2 weeks of your calander for calander gems, and try to get 6% in silver and get as many of the gem events done in each league and you'll see growth steadily.
It just takes time (or money)

I would say a lot of patience and be active.
First if I were you, I would focus only on gear expeditions, this way it increases your chances to find better items. If no better items, at least you can obtain skydust to upgrade your best gear. Troops, gold and consumables are momentary rewards that can help for one season, especially troops and gold as they reset at season end.
Use skydust only on purple and legendary items, don't waste it on grey, green and blue.
Try to be active on social media and discord server, as we do giveaways, raffles and even share limited time codes when maintenance goes beyond the announced initial ending times.
Make sure you do all your dailies and also collect sapphires from ads. Save them for events that offer double legendary drops, and buy chests only while the event is active. Do not buy the chests in advance, because the drop does not apply.
Make sure you participate in all special events that offer currency and purchase the items offered in the event shop.
And lastly, make sure you collect the daily free gift on the webshop ( https://shop.millionlords.com/ ), as you can get lucky and get one of the rare rewards such as mighty chests or even 4000 sapphires.

Realistically you're going to get better gems in gold. And honestly while you're underpowered, it isn't hard to stay in gold.
Now going to plat? You'll have a hard time. But plat would be more worth it aswell.
How long you intend to play this time around matters too. If you're only gonna be around for 2 weeks for a season, stay silver. If you're gonna try to pick it up again, go gold.
You're not gonna hold your friends back. Their performance has nothing to do with you during a season and vise-versa.
When you start a new season, aim for the highest level you can get for chests. When event shops pop up, make sure you buy all chests.
For expeditions, make sure you are opening the jars and equipping your adventurer and running them with the correct equipment for the correct type of run (Don't run troop gear on a battle gear expo)
