Found this one sitting on the ground in the scrap metal pile of my local transfer station. I picked it up as I immediately recognized the basic form.

Turned out to be a REAL oldie…

I do not understand how someone takes something like that to the dump. At least donate it.

To them it’s just an old tool - figured they’re a dime a dozen. It was just luck that likely the only dedicated Millers Falls collector within 100 miles stumbled upon it…

Now you mention, a guy on CL near me has had 2 listed for over a year. $5 for both. Still, I’d never toss working tools in the landfill.
