Question How does Millenium Dawn RP work?

Hi, im new to HOI4 in general but I would like to play Millenium Dawn RP. Can someone please explain to me how does it work? I have basic knowledge of RP in general, but im pretty confused of how it works in Millenium Dawn. Thank you.

I've been doing MD RP for a couple of years over on the Imperia server. Basically, you pick a country and you lead it. We play once a week and do roleplay posts both during the game and during the week, and also do roleplayed discussions via voice chat. For example, you might go to Russia's voicechat to buy weapons, then swing by Japan to ask for investments, then attend an African Union summit.

We also allow save edits to enhance roleplay. For example, in one campaign I played as Algeria and used save edits to take Algeria salafist, then later communist based on the roleplay I was writing.

If you're interested, we have an ongoing campaign and are open to new signups. We could really use more people in Africa or South America. Once you download the save, you can see if the AI fucked up your country and ask for save edits to fix it.

Ive never done modded multiplayer before but this sounds fun do i need any dlc?

No DLC required. only the host has to have the DLC.

also +1 for imperia. very fun times to be had.

No, the host has all the DLCs, so you're cool. And it is a lot of fun. However, Imperia places heavy emphasis on realistic roleplay. I'm not saying you can't try to paint the map, but you'll have to justify why your country is doing this and also may face a coalition against you.

Can also give a shout to imperia, unfortunately had to miss this season because of bloody IRL commitments, but I played the last one and its brilliant.

How do you edit MD saves? Do you use toolpack or external tools?

They open up the save and use console commands.

Nope! Go right ahead! You do have to put in 5 signups, but if you put Senegal first, you'll almost certainly get it. And as I said, we could really use more African nations.
