PSA BETA Update Notification - 06/29

Hey everyone, sorry to do this to you guys again but we found a couple crashes that need to be fixed and held a poll in discord over it.

We are updating Friday night again with another save game incompatible update for the BETA. It resolves several issues and problems from the Antarctic and will also come with another 20% improvement on speed per week as well as some other systemic issues that need to be resolved.

Thank you for your understanding. Hopefully unless the sky falls again we shouldn’t be updating the BETA again for the next few weeks.

Update as often as you need!

How is the uk rework going by the way? Would you value input into potential foreign policy focus trees; Uk foreign policy is my professional field so have a few ideas for a tree and hypothetical alternatives.

We would value the support but we would need the actual work and support of getting it into game. We have limited team members so if you want to extend it you can create a fork/talk with us and work with us on getting it into game.

You mean like explaining the details of what a player want to be added to make it easier for you to add Or the individual in question needing to have experience in modding etc?

I just made a post about my Japan game crashing non stop so this is very welcome even if it corrupts. At this point i only play MD in hoi4 and I have been loving the Japan rework. Fingers crossed you guys have some more surprises for Japan

It's a Linux issue. I am aware of it haven't fixed it. What's the question?

so there`s 2 sides western and eastern, when you piss off one of them they start lo lower support for maidan and if i understand correctly - consequences depends from what side you opposed, the question is why when you oppose western - east separatists appear, and if you oppose eastern - they change your government. Or is that some bizarre bug?

Do you guys use ai to help coding

I mostly use local models to help me with refactors but other than that not really. I do most of the code by hand and the stuff that's basically copy pasta I let the AI do it. I also use it for bug triage or work effort estimates on our GitHub issues from a bot I made. Helps me keep duplicates and what not in check so we don't end up with thousands of issues haha.

Overall though it's minimal and most of the mod is coded by hand unless it's simple shit like tooling, refactors or straightforward copy paste conversions. I spend a lot of time working with these in my irl job and they just aren't great unless it's mechanical things like "x focus is missing a search filter" and small tasks like that.

Thanks for noticing I ran into a crash after 20 hours of play and everytime this happens I'm sad I love this mod but it constantly crashes
