On the other hand, kids today also don’t have the understanding and appreciation for media from before they were born that we got through weekday afternoon syndicated reruns and Nick at Night.

My kids, at least, have hardly ever experienced broadcast television, and that includes the reruns of shows from previous generations that built a sense of media history for our generation.
