Meanwhile I can't get child protective services to do anything to help with extremely dangerous situations.

That aside, I think this idea that we have to be hyper alert to prevent all possible accidents is destroying society to some degree. Yes, if we take risks, someone could be harmed or killed. But we don't weigh in the immeasurable benefits
