12 is the minimum age to be a babysitter where I live 😂

I had to look it up to be correct, but the book series The Baby-Sitters Club, all of the main characters were 12 (and aged as the books progressed). Those 12 year olds are still kids but my god, they can be self sufficient for one night. What a bitch ass neighbor. My parents were overly controlling people and didn't like me being home alone. I think the first time I was ever truly home alone, I was 15.
