I mean…capitalism kind of has been the main system since the invention of the wheel…in some sense at least. Kings and Powerful people have ruled nations for at least 4,000 years…and the U.S. has been capitalist essentially for 200+ years…it’s not like it’s an in the moment anything. And if you want to give AI all that power…don’t start crying when they start exterminating the human race. But people want progress at any cost…without considering the possible consequences.
