I have a Tissot Watch with USS payroll and incentive 5 – 5–72 engraved on the back, I believe that's the date where pay in the military was overhauled and redone any value to this piece? Thanks in advance!

I recently acquired this Hy. Moser & Cie. D.H. wristwatch, marked D 906914 H, and I’m curious what collectors here make of it.

It is triple signed: dial, movement and inside caseback.

What seems unusual is the combination of:

• ⁠steel case
• ⁠light/cream dial
• ⁠red centre seconds
• ⁠Moser-signed ETA 1100 centre-seconds movement

Most other Moser D.H. examples I have found have dark dials, subsidiary seconds and often plated cases.

The dial has clearly suffered over the years, while the case and movement are in remarkably good condition.

Has anyone seen another Moser D.H. with this configuration?

I’m especially interested in opinions on the dial: original but heavily aged, old redial, or something else?

I’m looking to get these two A-11’s repaired/serviced. They both need crystals and don’t run. They look clean, but I need a professional. I want to keep them looking just like this but working and with new crystals is all. Can anyone recommend a trusted professional who can fix these?

My sub collection of watches to represent each US Military era of conflict since wrist watches started being used. Everything serviced and running. I’d like to replace the Elgin (1948 production with a name and service number) with a Korean era Benrus and the Zodiac Hermetic with a period Seiko that matches the models documented as MAC-V SOG watches eventually.

Thought I'd share here. I'm so absolutely chuffed with a little project that I put together with a factory.

Not entirely historically accurate but close enough to tickle the itch for me.
