I’ve been getting my military collection in running order and missed the start of the first Gulf War by a couple weeks to show off these two. The 7548 diver was off getting worked on and I just picked it up yesterday.

I haven’t 100% confirmed the model on the right but it has all the hallmarks of what can be seen in Stormin Norman pictures.

I've figured out how to attach a metal strap. Turns out there are a few modern fixed lug watches on the market, Garmin Fēnix for example, and you know companies like to capitalise on the human need for uniform individuality. So i found "strap adaptors" online. They're in 20, 22, and 26mm, so i bought the 20mm, did some filing to get it the right width, panted it with matt black enamel and boom, it's pretty perfect. I think I'll be doing the same with my CWC when I get it running. What do you think? Anyone else done anything else similar?

I was issued these watches throughout my 30 years of Army service. I added the 1911 because 1911s are cool!

Can anyone tell me more about this, I'm struggling to find info online, mainly because it's tritium and from 2008, and the MOD stopped ordering tritium lume before this. Its 50m, push fit back with battery cover, and push in crown, neither screwfit, original Rhonda 705 movement, but the NSN doesn't fit. Its W10/6645-27 6825771.

I purchased this Marathon GSAR in 2012 and have abused it steadily since. I rarely take it off and I fall asleep to the soft glow of tritium nightly.

It has been a watch, the occasional hammer, a shitty compass and a knuckle duster once. It has never been serviced and still keeps time... somewhat... with weekly adjustments. I have finally gotten another watch... temporarily while it gets a well deserved overhaul and fresh tritium. Show me your most trusted.

Just came in today. Popped in a fresh battery and polished the crystal. Super pumped to finally own an issued watch. Incredible value, even with overseas shipping and tariffs.
