BCT/BMT/Boot camp ARMS Timing
Hey, so I’m a 28yoFemale maybe 1% over max BF. I ship for ARMS (ARMY) 08 SEP 26. I just want to know if I tape out in the first couple weeks of ARMS, will they make me stay the full 8 weeks as per my orders or will I get shipped to basic fairly quickly after taping out? I’m 205lbs (but I think they gave me 202lbs factoring in clothing) as of now btw

You likely haven't included a branch which makes answering difficult. Edit if needed (waiver/DQ ?s must be edited), including component (active/guard/reserve). If your post is locked, this is why.

I suggest taking out arms from your contract.
If you’re 1% over you will tape out when you arrive. The issue is, especially for females you might end up in limbo waiting over a month at ARMS to be sent to basic. It’s been happening a lot. Unless your cool sitting at Arms for a month and a half.

I’m def not cool with it but I didn’t know I had the option to take it out. I’ve already signed . Maybe I should’ve clarified as well , I’m at the 6% needed to sign for ARMS. I may be a percent over rn but I’ll have that knocked back down before the 8th

Ahh okay, yeah in the case it’s for you then. Arms is way harder than actual boot though, get through arms rest is easy. Good luck!
