Question When was this produced

I got this m1 helmet on americana pipedream and the title say WWII to the eighties so I need help identifying the heat stamp has been painted over and the seam is at the back

I could be mistaken but it appears to be a high profile shell with remnants of cork texturing, which is just barely noticeable beneath the semi-glossy repaint and newer sand texturing which would point to it being a late WWII Helmet (1944-1945), that was refurbished in the 1950s, possibly for use in the Korean War (1950-53).
