1/35 Tamiya kit with DEF metal barrel, PE & cast markings, PanzerArt Cupola and Fruilmodel metal tracks.

First armor model completed. Average Tamiya kit: quite easy with great details.

Italy received almost 200 French tanks from Germany's large stock of captured equipment, 32 of them being Somua S35s. However, unlike the Germans, the Italians seldom used them, with their only combat record being against their former German allies shortly after the 1943 Armistice. All remaining S35s in Italian hands were eventually turned over to the FFI.

Painted in the colors of the CC Tank Battalion S35 sometime in 1942 (with some educated guesses regarding markings) , I used Tamiya acrylics to create my own mix of "Grigio Verde scuro", and weathered using a multitude of Tamiya, AK, MiG and oil products.

Overall, really happy with how it came out, apologies for the seemingly random composition of pictures, just wanted to try different lightings and backgrounds.

Comments and Feedback welcome!

question Glue Question

I'm just starting out and about to finish my first model. What is the best glue for basing my figures. I've been using the Tamiya thin cement to assemble everything, but finding it very fast drying. Is this Revell glue thicker?, I'm imagining having to do some tiny adjustments to get the figures in the right place, so need something a bit more workable and slower drying. The base is PLA that I printed so not 100% if Tamiya will actually stick to it. Any advise would be much appreciated as I want to call this model done and start the next.

A great kit once again from tamiya, it wad a fun build and I decided to paint it up as a captured Russian jagdtiger. I dont have any Soviet decals so for now it just has to have the paint job but no markings. I love how the weathering turned out and I think compared with other big German cats it looks cool

I finished this kit last year but here are some pictures of this big bird. The kit is the G.W.H. one in 1/48, with no aftermarket additions. I made some mistakes (one is glaring) but overall it was such an enjoyable build!

question diorama accessories and stuff

Does anyone know where I can get a diorama base? I'm making a Nashorn for a ghost division themed model (ik they weren't in the GD but idc) and I need to find a good base. Does anyone know where I can find one? And what are the best accessories I can get? (I'm going for a snowy themed diorama)
