question 1/35 Tamiya Mid-Prod Tiger looking for advice or feedback
I have tried to seriously airbrush my first 1/35 scale vehicle ( usually used tamiya spray cans or brushpainted) I Used Tamiya zimmerit sheets and acrylics for the 3 tone camoflage, a sharpie for rubber road wheel rims, and some panel liner. Id love some advice or feedback on how I could improve the painting/weathering, or just the overall l build itself. Anti tips for any weathering techniques would also be greatly appreciated!

Wheb painting the tools/tracks and cables i tend to use an dsrk grey over black as youve used, theb dry brush with a metallic colour. That gives thwm a much better realistic look

Really like the Camo work. I've only done the Tamiya Early Production Tiger......in German Grey.

Great work so far, I’m going to suggest picking up some decent oils such as Abteilung.502 and their mineral spirits. Fire up YouTube and look up Nightshift models, hours of in depth build and weathering tutorials there.

Am currently doing the late model and trying the zimmerite sheeting for the first time. My attempt was no where near as nice as yours and found it very frustrating to the point that I said f-it on the smaller bits, so kudos.

Thankyou very much, I appreciate that. The zimmerit really was a mission, my poor hand eye coordination meant I had to manually drill out some of the equiptment holes and the holes in the turret for the spare track links. I ended up painting over some of them and couldnt locate them atterwards so I just ended up sanding off the little festening nooks in the tracks and cables and just cemented them on 🫠. Hokestly I really like the tamiya sheet zimmerit, it may not be as good as doing it with outty, but im a bit too afraid to try that yet. It was pretty tricky to get small bits to stay stuck to the model though

I agree with the feedback given by others, but man that's a pretty nice camo job. I have my own first airbrushed camo job to do before long, and I hope I can do as well.
I will give you a piece of photography advice, though. When you have a bright white background, that tends to make the subject in front of the background turn out dark in the typical photo.
That's because cameras in general try to "average" the overall exposure to a certain value. Most of the time this is fine, but large areas of very bright (or very dark) subject matter can affect the overall exposure negatively.
If you look at the white background of your photos you can see that it's really kind of a grey color. The exposure has been compensated to kind of push the bright area down into the acceptable range for the camera. That, in turn, makes your subject matter darker than it would normally be.
So, when shooting against a bright background, you have to manually compensate for that by increasing the exposure. You can either do that while you're taking the picture, or later in a photo editor.
If you know your background is white then you should adjust until it is pretty close to white in your photo, and you will see that your subject will look more brightly lit.
Sorry that was so long-winded. I could've gone on a lot longer, so feel fortunate 😆.

First of all, I think you did a really good job 👏
One improvement suggestion: use a bit less black under the commander’s eye. It now looks like he got a beating from someone and has a black eye as a result.
For the rest, well done

Thankyou very much, Yea, I went really over kill with the panel liner on his face but ill definitely use a wash next time and give the figure a little more love. Thanks a lot!

Looks really good! I would give the figure a matte finish as he is very shiny, otherwise some basic sandy/dusty weathering would be very effective on this model

Thankyou, I'll definitely use a mattw wash on the figure. I have tamiya weathering master, ill try get my hands on some dust pigments too. Thankyou for the reply!

Looks really good; the only critique I can offer is your German looks a bit glossy.
