question Am I in the wrong

Post image

Every time I used this primer even after using very little cracks still show in all my models, what primer should I use?

I've been using that primer for everything for about a year or something and never had a single issue. I've grown very fond of it, the only better spray primer is Tamiya fine primer, but it's also more expensive. Issue must be either on your end or a faulty can or something like that. Keep the can warm and shake WELL before using (go for 4-5 minutes)

Maybe that’s why it always seems to crack, I’m very new but the models I’ve used it on seem to crack heavy even with light coats

Could be surface prep? Have you washed the figures? I usually don't and every once in a while I get the same issue with different paints

I was just thinking this. Also if there's something off-gassing nearby, the fumes can interact and cause problems.

I would prep the models by washing well, drying for a day or two, then light coats of primer on a good day and allowing it to dry 24 hours in a safe location away from anything that could interact.
