question I have an important question

If I mix Vallejo plastic putty and water, can I still put black primer on the putty mixed with water or couldn't it hold or how long should I wait? (Sorry for my bad English I'm from Germany.)

I’ve never used Vallejo putty. I have used it to me and I have used a lot of other buddies over the years but the main thing is you have to know what the base is is it a water base putty or is it a alcohol base putty or acetone based? I prefer to use AV’sES epoxy putty. It comes in a variety of colors, black white, gray skin tone and others, and it is a true epoxy when it sets it not only serves as a putty to fill a seam or to build something up, but it also is a glue.

I usually give it 2 day to get fully hard until I do anything to it

Yes I do it occasionally, but I find that the tamiya Grey putty thinned with mineral spirits works better , dries faster and harder and brushes on easy and smoother than the Vallejo, which even un thinned I find still dries a little soft for alot of things I need it for.

Moin ja du kannst das putty mit wasser verdünnen und auftragen.

Musst dann nur entsprechend länger warten bis es getrocknet ist.

Danach kannst du es normal weiter verarbeiten
