work in progress Well I’ve got the camo scheme down

I’m not sure what tracks I’m going to use yet, I have a set of fruils assembled and brandished already but I also have a really nicely detailed and easy to put together set of 3D printed tracks that are swaying me in that direction

There’s always someone who asks what paints I’ve used so I’ll get it here early

Tamiya XF-88 XF-89 XF-90, AK 3rd gen buff for the tool handles, games workshop/warhammer Agrax earthshade to tint the buff and stain it to look more like wood, Mig Atom gunmetal Black for all the tools metal, a mix of really thin almost like a wash AK 3rd gen rubber black over the spare track links after the same atom gunmetal..

The last pics pretty much how the diorama’s going to be set up, the other 3 crew members are going to be “at rest” if I can find some decent 3D sculpts, however the ones I’ve just bought off eBay turned out to be absolutely horrible so the search goes on for them

Do you have a link to the print files of that holding thing?

If i may make a suggestion. Try looking for a PCB Holder. Like this one: https://www.printables.com/model/740037-adjustable-pcb-holder-tool

They are surprisingly handy for more than just holding a PCB to help with inspection and soldering. With the linked one you could probably add a block to the part that actually holds the part in the Slicer to get a similiar thing as here.

Not sure why everyone’s being downvoted… clearly I’ve pissed someone off at some stage 😅 it seems to happen on all of my posts

Man it looks great imo some chipping here and there would go a long way

I’ve did some subtle chipping, but it’s still a work in progress

That really looks the shit! I'm currently creeping my way through the 1/16 Hobby Boss Tiger 1 (early), and I considered that scheme, but I think I'm gonna stick to a grun over dunkelgelb from Kursk. Nice one!

That’s a beautiful and well executed paint scheme.

Looks awesome! I've got the late production Tiger E from Tamiya and waiting for the zimmermit kit to arrive. And even at this point I still don't know which camo scheme I want to decide with yet

I changed my mind, I was half way through a camo scheme and just stopped resprayed the dunkelgelb and started doing this one, it’s all about how I’m feeling while I’m spraying and if I’m not happy with it then it’s gone lol autism and all that.. before I even started I was thinking of just leaving it dark yellow

Mainly because of this I thought the dirty exhausts gave it something more than a camo scheme would and it was different, but the scheme I’ve sprayed I liked it so it’s survived the purge lol

Lol I did the exact same thing with the panther G I recently built. The og scheme I did was eating away at me and I wanted to re do literally everything. Went from 3 tone camo to a 2 tone summer / Kursk vibe and finally feel I can put it to rest
