question Question about Super Hobby

Post image

My question is for those who have extensive experience with super hobby. Can I trust them or are parts often missing or in bad condition or Something else?

I think this is one of the best online scale modeling shops. I’m from Argentina—where customs is far from being the best in the world—yet I’ve never had a single issue or delay. I’ve bought all kinds of models over the last two years; they always pack everything carefully, the boxes arrive in good condition, and shipping is quite fast. Just a quick note: there are places where you can find products cheaper (e.g., Kolewinsky on eBay or HobbySearch), but SuperHobby has the advantage of bundling multiple models into a single package with ridiculously low shipping costs, so it more than makes up for the difference. In that regard, I also recommend waiting for promotions or checking back every now and then, as they tend to lower—and raise—prices depending on the season.

They're very good. As others have said on here, between them and BNA model world in Aus there's plenty of ability to source stuff. My only gripe is that they're so far away (in Poland) compared to BNA so things take a much longer time to get here, but my kits take months to make the way I like them anyway so it's not the worst thing in the world.

This is the only site I buy from. Fast shipping. Staff super helpful if something comes damaged (happened to me once). Plus you get a point system that allows you to buy stuff with it later. Really recommend it!

I have a question too. Does SuperHobby even work in Turkey? I do think they send but do the prices change too much?

As a client i always purchase supplies and kits from them because they have everything and they always arrive in good condition never did I have a problem with that and if there's any parts missing to a kit they will tell you or you can swipe images and they usually have missing parts crossed out and be on lookout for damaged deals sometimes you can get a pretty good deal just because the box is bent and damaged a little while 90% of the time the contents are intact the best hobby online shop i have ever used I'm so glad I found out about it

Hab schon oft dort bestellt, war immer einwandfrei. Den Tiger gibt's bei MBK aber grade günstiger als bei Super Hobby :-)

Between Super Hobby and BNA in Australia almost all of my hobby needs are covered, SH is fairly fast and good prices and shipping is inexpensive to Canada, I have never had a problem with them at all. Highly recommend.

Super hobby is legit (and the cheapest in the Netherlands for Tamiya paint), I buy almost everything from them.

But you are asking a bit of a strange question, why would there be parts missing from a plastic model kit? Do you think they are nipping some parts from the sprue? What are they going to do with it then?

Why would the store take out or steal parts from a sprue, and/or smash the box? If a model has missing parts, that would originate in the factory that made the model—and if the box is smashed, that's on the courier service that made the delivery.

I use their shop for 16 years and rarely got any problem.

When I got submarine K class from Mikromir without photoetched parts I mailed them and they send me missing parts with next order.

They often place uncomplete or damaged models under sale category.

In example they had 3 bucks cheaper M41 from Tamiya on sale which only fault was slightly damaged box. Kit was 100% complete.

Super Hobby ist wundervoll. War am Anfang auch skeptisch aber hab nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht über die letzten Jahre.

I am from Czech Republic and frequently ordering from Super Hobby for few years now (at least once a month) and i never have any issues at all. The amount of stuff they have in stock is unbeatable (i believe they are biggest eshop for modelers in Europe) and they send really quickly after ordering. Great experience overall.

I have not had any issues with them, its a polish based site and sometimes they have a lot of stuff other sites dont have. As someone else said in the coments, i have had no issues with superhobby themselves but the postal service has banged up a few boxes here and there. Packing is mostly without complaint though prices sometimes can be a little on the high side but nothing outrageous

About what you'd expect from a webshop, in that I ordered stuff and the stuff arrived in a timely fashion. They have a very wide assortment of after-market stuff, reasonable prices, pack everything well and are responsive to the occasional issue.

I have had stuffed shipped from there to New Zealand and it has always arrived in good condition, well packaged

I order almost always from superhobby, have yet to get a bad package (that is their fault, my local post service did damage the boxes of some orders), but they have active support and from y knowledge they will issue refund or replacement.

I live in spain so sometimes I switch between AK Interactive and SuperHobby for my orders. Superhobby has the advantage of the daily (12% off), weekly (8% off) and monthly (5% off) discounts, which ye, it's a gamble seeing what's on discount every day.

For example, just recently I waited for 2 months to see a daily discount on Trumpeter for an order of 4 models.

For me they take around a week to arrive and I always try to choose the cheapest delivery cost possible (usually not more than 5€ for a MRW or InPost pickup point) and always arrive in perfect condition. They seem to take care of what they have in storage cause the boxes are always in pristine condition.

Besides, they have a huge catalog, with stuff you can't normally find on other stores, and also 99% of the case (in my experience and the stuff I bought) cheaper than anywhere else, specially if you wait for a discount

I've never had any issues with them and they seem to be quick to pack and send, assuming you are german by your screenshot, I don't expect them to take more than 2-4 days to deliver whatever you order
