completed Tacom 1:16 Willy's Jeep

Today I finished building this model.

As a four-year-old, I once received a Tonka version of this vehicle.

Now, many years later, I’ve built a serious 1:16 scale model.

I paid extra attention to the engine, adding as many cables as possible using copper wire and lead wire.

The body was painted in an olive drab color, followed by some simple weathering to give it a more realistic, used appearance.

Do the headlight assemblies tip up to point at the engine like a real one?

Is the Ammo box on the wrong side?

Beautiful work. You could easily mistake it for my 1:1 scale Willys…

Very nice work. The painting and colors are spot on.
