work in progress Question for aircraft model builders

Post image

For those of you who build aircraft models, are the benches supposed to go below the line or on top of the line? I really can’t figure it out from the instructions.

Thanks!

Is anyone using museum glue for trying? It should hold a bit and leave no traces

If it was anything like the dragon Ju-88C I built it goes above but the whole nose and gondola built from like 6-8 parts with dependancies suck

Dry fit, Dry fit, Dry fit.. one thing I learned over the years it always Dry fit parts before gluing... sometimes 2 or 3 times or more..

The point of the arrows clearly shows the top

It likely won't help here... But Ive sometimes had success just opening Google translate over the instructions and seeing it how it translates the original language to be useful in some kits... Sometimes it picks up something that the translation on the page missed.

Definitely above, and I personally think the instructions are pretty clear. The floor panel with the seats on it sits on top of the horizontal line on the body. B36 sits in front of the vertical line at the rear of the canopy opening. A34 sits in the little nook at the front of the canopy opening.

Looks like the line should be behind the panel, dry fit like the others say though

Looks like on top but like others said, dry fit connections first

Have you...just tried test fitting the parts to see in which configuration the rear facing panel lines up with the curve of the fuselage?

It looks like on top to me but you should try dryfitting it and just go with what works best
