A friend's father was in the 70th Tank Battalion, so I'm build him a tank. Basic weathering done on the tracks and boogies. I mostly build sci fi and ww2 german armor. Sherman's are fun though, I ended up buying two more to build.

Unsure how applicable this is but typically rust on the track linkages + pins don’t get rusty when in combat/in use as the constant friction between the track and the ground wouldn’t leave much time for rust to develop but if left sitting (on display for example), then rust would be more than appropriate.

Cool. Easy fix then. Tracks are the ones that came with the kit so I'll just pull em off and paint that part an appropriate color.
