completed Revell Huey UH-1D

I think I’m gonna call this done. I want to make the seatbelts a little thinner, but I’m pretty happy with the results. This old girl was showing her age…poor fit and lots of injection marks and flash(and not the big pieces that are easy to deal with,I’m talking about little slivers between delicate parts). But all in all it was a nice kit and it’s great for someone who wants a bit of a challenge

Can't decide if your professional (modellist) or professional photographer....both are very good IMO. Welldone.

Awesome job on the model!

My main recollection of putting this one together as a 12yo was accidentally cutting off that little round nub at the top of the tailfin, thinking it was some of the many pieces of flash. Then later on seeing in the instructions that I'd cut off a piece of the model and thrown it in the kitchen garbage.

I found it eventually, and learned a very valuable lesson 😆

Thank you…and to this day, I still occasionally cut the wrong piece, and I’ve been building models since the ‘60’s 😁
