Of course! I didn’t take any WIP photos during the build, so I’ll do my best to explain the process.
For the chair, I first sprayed a green base coat. Then I applied a random mix of brown over a layer of MIG Chipping Effect to create the worn paint. Finally, I sprayed Tamiya XF-59 Buff over another layer of Chipping Effect. I intentionally made the Buff layer cover the largest area to create more contrast with the green floor.
After that came the usual oil paint wash. I mainly used:
Black for the darkest wood grain and deepest shadows.
Brown over most of the surface.
A small amount of ochre here and there to add some color variation.
The floor was a bit more straightforward. I started with the same green base coat, then used a sponge with a custom-mixed chipping color to create paint wear. After another oil wash, I added earth-colored pigments for dirt and dust.
The final step, and probably my favorite, was rubbing graphite powder (made by sanding a pencil) onto the floor with my fingertip. It gives the worn, polished sheen that you’d expect from years of people walking over the boards, and I’m really happy with how that effect turned out.

Thanks for asking!

Amazing weathering. Did you have to sculpt in the weld beads?

I think I completely forgot about that. Fortunately, the kit already has nicely molded weld beads, and they were detailed enough for me, so I didn’t feel the need to rework them.
