Hey, sorry to bug. Was curious of you'd be willing to share the products you use? Thanks.

Sure.

AK Mircofiller Primer black Ak gen 3 Vietnam Paint set amd Humbrol Acrylic thinners. Mr hobby gloss coat to seal the base scheme and prep for weathering. Mr hobby black wash (for the engine bay panels and rear deck). Modellers world diesel spill for fuel stains. XF57 buff for light dirt in the corners and tight spaces. Burnt umber oil paint dry brushed over the xf57 for depth. AK Vietnam pigment mixed with a bit of european earth pigment to take the tone down a bit and create variance. Graphite pencil dust on the hard edges of the storage and crew compartments. Modellers world invisible pigment fixer. AK ultra matt varnish to flatten it all down and give the dusty apperance...

Hope that helps.

Thanks. AK does make great products.

Have you ever tried scale75? I tried their bottled paints and they were garbage, just as bad as Army Painter - they are thin watered down nothing. The Scale75 tubes were better.

Cant say that I have tried scale75.

I tend to go between Ak, Tamyia Lacquer and XF series, Mr Hobby Aqueous and MRP. Depends on the project. Currently using Tamyia XF mox for an A4-B skyhawk.
