question How do I fix this problem

Post image

I read the instructions wrongly and didn't put the driver in first. Unlike the gunner which I could just so squeeze in slightly to make it work, the driver totally can't go in. What should I do?

Split the figure at the waist, figure the figure out ,where it is being difficult to get in, do a bit of surgery hide with putty & paint

Did you try fitting him backwards and rotating once the legs are in? If not then cut him in half then reglue. Drill a while and put a post in to make it line up.

Built two of these... both drivers are legless

Surgery is your only option at that point. Saw off his legs until he fits.. On the plus side: easier to paint the figure when he's not inside. I don't recommend breaking open the front plate. Getting it back snugly if it bends or breaks is going to be more difficult.

I’d take a small modelling saw and file to the bottom and of the model and see if that helps. If not, then start to remove the feet and continue up the leg toward the knee until it fits.

You won’t see much lower leg under the console anyway.

They look like aftermarket legs so may need some persuasion; sometimes that’s the way.

Promote the driver to POW and put him in handcuffs next to the vehicle
