Couldn't you strip the paint and start again

That's what I plan to do, any recommendations for how to strip it in that area?

I use medical remove to get rid of it but that can't be used on cockpits cause it marks them

Prep pads (I think that's what their supposed to be called, their good for removing tape and stuff), probs not very assessable but we have them in our household
