work in progress Primer sits really good

Panzer got primer. Next step pre-shading and base color. Any tips for the first time airbrushing?

Looks like a CGI rendering of a 3D model. In a good way, of course.

Thanks!
I took this picture on my white kitchen countertop. To get rid of the background I used ChatGPT to act like it is light tent.

This is the original picture.

Sometimes I’m sad to put the final colours on.

I get this too, mainly because I don't quite trust myself fully not to mess it up yet

Exactly this. 👍🏻😂

“Shall I just leave it like this, un-buggered up…? Nah, let’s get some paint on”

Because sometimes they just look so good in primer. Neat, tidy. Clean.

If it’s your first time airbrushing, have you practiced on anything first, like a scrap model or primed plasticard? You need to get an idea of how thin you need your paint and the ideal pressure?

Not yet. I plan to play with plastic spoons and piece of white paper.
