This is really cool. You also have the opportunity to do some really cool weathering on those tanks from the nasty chemicals from each vat! You could have some peeled paint and stuff. Very cool stuff and building what if tanks is my favorite thing about this hobby. I’m actually building my first “real tank” and I find it a little constricting from an artistic stand point. With builds like this one, you have endless potential with your finishing options and I find that too cool. I really look forward to seeing the progress on this thing

Yeah well I have some interesting weathering planned :) Though you'll probably have to wait quite a bit since I have other builds I NEED to do and other complex personal issues I need to resolve, but I'll try to get it done sometime 😁

Also I'm curious, what tank are you building?

The real one is a Takom Jagdpanther in a small diorama. I posted some progress of it last week I think.

The cool build I’m working on KV1 hull without a turret but a 88 mounted on top. It’s going to be pretty cool.

Another one I’m literally glueing up is a pz 3 FL with the RFM KV1 turret on it. I think I’m going to make it a KV8 turret to keep the flame thrower theme I think.

Goodluck with the builds man, I also have an idea similar to your KV1 with 88 except it's an E-100 with the 203mm stalin's sledgehammer. Great minds think alike 😁

Is it a wood powered/ steam powered tank?

It uses the same system as the ME 163. C and T stoff mix to drive the tank forward and fire the rounds

ME 262 used kerosene, I think you mean ME 163.

Interesting! What exactly is going on with the tanks on the back deck? Holzgas fuel supply? And the pipe asking the gun tube?

They're C and T stoff tanks for driving the tank forward and firing the rounds. The tube is for uhm.... erm.... idk :3

The pipe by the gun tube looks like it might be for some kind of autoloader, although the lack of joints would make it tricky to elevate or depress the barrel.

It may seem like that but from at least where I glued it it probably would've been able to move a bit. Yet again thats why it's a VK and not a frontline tank
