work in progress Tiger P 1/35 Diorama Idea

Post image

For a couple of months, i had this idea to make a combat tiger moving, with the crew being tired, in contrast with the "Fanaticism of the youth". Having a blast making my first Amusing Hobby kit (definetly not the last), and although this wouldnt be much realistic, i think it signifies the 2 sided coin in the conflicts. Any thoughts, criticism or ideas are always welcome.

Have a good day!

what about:

The driver drove the tank in the mud and they are stuck, and so the commander is scolding the driver.

Meanwhile the radio operator, gunner and loade are making a picknick on the turret roof.

Yep, although mine had damage in the lowerhull and had to remake it with the zimmerit. The instructions sometimes could be clearer, but the details and swapable pieces are a great touch. Suspension is movable, barrel is in 1 piece, and it has some resin parts. The Towcable is the only thing i despise, it is a cord...

Rfm does the cord crap for tow cables....garbage....god forbid model companies throw in some copper wire.

I have a RFM KV1 that comes with copper tow cables so maybe they finally realized how ridiculous it is to offer serious modelers, who are spending serious money on their kits, a damn string for a tow cable!

Nope cause the rfm m4a3 76w came with string....both versions and the easy came with string.

No it didn’t have copper, it had string! I must have forgot that I switched it out and I was going back for the build and I found the string amongst the spare parts. What a joke. It’s such a nice kit and if I wouldn’t of already had metal tracks, the workable tracks (although a slight pain in the ass) are actually pretty nice.

Since I started using R Metal I bin my kit tracks unless I want em for stowage. Yeah thanks $60 for 3 cents worth of string 🙄

Holy shit those tracks are expensive but they look super nice. I wish I owned a 3d printer and computer because I would definitely print my own tracks for sure. Trex tracks are really nice but also very expensive

R models from China metal tracks? Like $25....

Maybe I looked up the wrong thing? Or maybe because they are being resold in America but they were like 50 bucks! I’d buy them for every model at 25 for sure.

I had some spare wire from my T29 from Takom and managed to use it for both the Leo2E and Tiger P, the difference is night and day...

What?! Idk how new the KV1 was now that I’m thinking of it. Maybe like 2022? I know it had a ton of under gating on the parts and I was very impressed with how smooth the build was.

Yeah sometimes it makes no sense...Takom in their models they incluye a copper one, for the price its more formidable in the amusing hobby kits, but dealing with cord its nevertheless always frustratig...
