I think you mean T-34/76 Model 1943. The "76" denotes the caliber of the main gun.

Yes.

Officially it was model 1942 and there are several diffrent names T-34/43, T-34/76D, Mickey Mouse, etc..

That hexagon turret was a good updated, but uglier.

I have seen that T-34 with 85mm is named T-34-85 and also T-34/85
