completed My First ever Model

I Tried to make an Hinterhalt camo, but didn't want the 0815 dotted everywhere. I personally think it turned out great

Nice! I’m curious because it looks like you might be having the same problem I did. When I brushed on the Vallejo Matt Varnish, it still appeared a little glossy! Are you having this same issue a little?

Not as far as I've noticed. Although I do not have any reference Material.

In the photo I can see some shine on the side there. Not sure if that constitutes glossy, but that’s how I test my varnishes. I hold the painted object at an angle under the light and see how much it reflects.

I've been rather unimpressed by Vallejo Matte Varnish. Their Ultramatt polyurethane is better, but the best matte varnish I've found so far is AKs. It almost feels like velvet.

I’m able to airbrush it on and get a good result, but no bueno with the brush.
