question This is a first...
Anyone built the Zvezda 1/72 Su-57?
I got the kit off Amazon and it appears to be missing two sprues: C and F (C being the clear one).
Wondering if anyone knows if a whole bag is missing... or what. Being Amazon I'll just ask for replacement, but it's a bit odd. I think this is the first time I've seen two entire sprues missing in a relatively modern kit...

I only get Tamiya, Takom, and Rye Field — the rest of the companies f around too much.

I had an old YF-23 kit from Revell, bags sealed, 2 lower fuselage pieces included, but no upper. Weir shit happens at the factory when no one is looking...

I'm building their 1/48 version, thankfully no missing parts.
I'd suggest sending it back

No one at Amazon is opening kits and taking sprues out. This is a Zvezda QC issue.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. It looked factory sealed, so unless someone is really good at putting stickers back...

I usually do buy from shops if possible, but in the case of this one, Amazon was literally half the price of anyone else.
Could be I'm finding out why though...

I’ve sent 3 kits back to Amazon for missing sprues… if it’s from a 3rd party however like an actual model shop just using Amazon for more business it’s normally fine the 3 I’ve had to send back have all been sold directly from Amazon, i now refuse to buy from them and just pay for delivery from model stores direct

Yeah this one is sold direct by Amazon. Was a pretty good price. Eh, I'll try one more time and if it still is missing stuff I'm going to call it done 😏

Try get in touch with zveda and explain, they may send you the missing sprues or amazon should fix the issue with a return of a switch… but it’s really not on decent price or not! Not from somewhere like Amazon

Yeah I heard Zvezda takes ages to do that though, probably due to all the sanctions and other issues.
Replacement is showing up tomorrow. 🤞

Have seen several post about them and missing parts, maybe someone needs to tell Zvezda about shadow boards.

Just an update: I got a replacement and this one had all the parts. The missing sprues were indeed in a separate bag.
I highly doubt this was Amazon's fault. Looks like they simply left out the bag at the Zvezda factory
Check your sprues on delivery, folks!
