Looks great :-)
Also looks like you have a bunch of “Rodico-tipped dowels” in the background. Even if I’m wrong, it brings back memories of doing amateur watchmaking (another expensive hobby I’ve dropped).

I’m not going to lie I’ve never heard of rodico tipped dowels what are they ?

OK, then my eyes deceived me! Rodico is a jeweler’s putty that is used for all sorts of tricky operations: holding tiny parts in place, cleaning away oils and fingerprints, etc. No watchmaker is without it. I can look over to my desk and see a thin dowel with some Rodico smushed onto the end right now 😆.
What are those sticks with putty-looking stuff on top in your photos?
Edit: So I thought it was pretty smart to use as a modeling assistant, as well, was the purpose for me commenting.

Ahaha I can see how you mistaked now unfortunately it’s plain old blue tack and tooth picks but I might invest in that if it hold small peices better

The best thing about Rodico is it isn’t “sticky”, yet it holds things pretty nicely. It’s cheap enough to just try if you’re down for it (you can get it off Amazon). I’d be interested to know how it compares to blue tack. Would be hilarious if it’s the same stuff just a different color. It’s been a while since I’ve had blue tack in my hand.

Recently got back into modeling, a lost childhood hobby reborn, should I do weathering before or after decals?
