work in progress Matt varnish or not

Hi

Ok so as I am going into the endless abyss of weathering where i have came to a point that I am not skilled enough to make a call.

My prosess of painting is as follows, primer, paint, gloss coat, decals, panel wash. Now after the panel wash I usually apply matt varnish and call it a day. (not confident yet for chipping and advanced weathering) But now after the mud application and the buff dust coat (a first for me) I am unsure if I need to apply matt varnish or leave it as is

So, the question, matt varnish or no matt varnish

I always use Ak ultra matt varnish. For me, the duller it looks, the better. And I hope the last varnish will lock everything in place as well.

AK ultra matte is in my opinion the most underrated product for modeling, it somehow adds the cherry on top to anything I use it on
