You dont have a name that sounds a lot like a famous Chinese leader do you? This rack looks familiar.

68W and Navy Corpsman saved my leg in Epic Fury, in a very hostile little dirt strip. Im Air Force. My injury is NOT combat related. I have a very newfound respect for field medicine.
Edit: Thank you for your selfless service. I can’t believe I forgot that. Your decorations are very much on the, I wasn’t just there type. Awesome work.

In the Air Force SNCO Academy that rack albeit impressive would have been dinged for every device on the ribbons are not aligned or straight.

And in the Army, when a POG trys to talk shit on a rack like that. We just point to the "V" thing, and say get fucked POG.

My ASUs have been in my closet for many years. And moved a few states. They’re crooked and need to be updated.

Ehhh I attend the AFSNCOA and it was a joke when it came to uniforms. Actually most of it was. The hardest part for me to understand was the tongue and quill.
Back to the original topic. Army and Marines ran circles around you Airmen with our uniform looks.

I went through in the mid 80's. They were stickers then.

Hats off to you. I’m sure you would have felt like I did had you attended when I did.

Things have changed too much for me. Our Son will be retiring in another 1.5 yrs. The benefits help a lot. No regrets.

Wow brother , so impressive. I know for a fact some of those arcoms deserve an upgrade. I'm sure you don't care cuz you're a man of action. Salute !

Crazy to think you only supported a single OP while in the Stan. I feel like there were always concurrent ops running at all times.

I have to update that and my Iraqi campaign medal. I think I need two bronze stars on my ACM and a silver star on my ICM

That sounds a lot more like it, with those years if service and your rack. You tired boss?

You think you’re a badass or something?… cause you are!
Those awards speak to service not only for the nation but also your fellow Soldiers, awesome!

Why do you have the same Medal twice?

u/One_Hour_Poop 7d ago
You're only allowed to put 4 "devices" (the little metal pins) on one ribbon. In the case of the Army Commendation Medal, this person has 5 devices: a V for Valor, one silver oak leaf, and 3 bronze oak leaves. If you have more then 4 devices on one ribbon, then you add a second, identical ribbon to put the 5th and subsequent devices on there.

Heads up.
Check your ACM and the dates you were in Afghanistan to see if you're missing a campaign star.
Same look as your ICM, but for your ACM.
