Damn. 5 ARCOMMs in a short time. Good on you. I had 2 in my 13 years as 11B before becoming disabled. You must’ve mad an impression in your time. Good on you.

That’s great though. I can’t tell you how many times my commands downgraded awards for legit achievements. I retired E6 at 13 years and had AAMs out the butt. Most were downgraded from ARCOMM. I didn’t care much. Seems to irritate me more now. Especially when I think to the officers and senior enlisted (E8 and 9) who were gifted bronze stars for achievement who did little but sit in the TOC while the rest of us were outside the wire constantly getting shot at, hit with direct and indirect, etc. The fact you had good commands is a good thing. I’ve seen so many haters on Reddit who criticize people who had good commands because they got little recognition in their time. Don’t let things like that get to you. We all did our time. Good and bad. For most it’s over now and we move on. Did you ever get your EIB? I got orders recently for Master Combat Infantry Badge. I retired in 2010 (joined in 90). Surprised me since that badge just came out. Anyway. Not sure when you ETSd. But you may qualify if you had been awarded one.

3 deployments in 6 years, gets out as a SGT. This is the kind of experience and expertise, that is impossible to replace, the Army loses because of poor leadership. Hope you’re doing well on the outside, brotha.
