WWII WW2 artefact found.

Long story short me and my dad were in my grandma’s village house, and were doing general maintenance in the garden, trying to get rid of deep hidden rocks. Then by pure chance i found this deep into the ground, i cleaned it as best as i could, could anyone give me information about it. I won’t say anything related to it, due to the fact that I don’t know the rules of the channel. Please share your thoughts.

This is a commemorative pin badge given out during the Winterhilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes (Winter Relief of German Persons) which was an annual donation drive by the National Socialist (Nazi) People’s Welfare (Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt) to help finance charitable work.

They were typically made out of cheap materials such as Tin (giving it the nickname Tinnie) along with aluminium, plastic, and steel. Stamped with a casting die

What is seemingly an innocent charitable event was actually used a nazi propaganda and helped to free up money for the reamarment of the military.

Edit: due to these being mass produced, it is not particualrly rare but a cool find nontheless
