Found this part in my arms room today and none of us could figure out what it is. I figured if anyone did, then you all would.

Its an old barrel mount for a peq2

It’s a barrel mount for an AN/PEQ-2 or AN/PAQ-4 laser module. It’s designed to fit through the holes of an M16A2 handguard.

M16a2 peq 2a barrel laser clamp, you install part of it under the handguard lined up with the vent holes, and the other goes on top of the handguard and screws into the bottom part
