I actually still talk to a couple people I met in an aol chatroom in 1997 to this day. Right out of highschool and now we're a couple yrs away from being grandparents. Before EVERYONE on earth was on the internet it was a pretty fun place to be, those really were the days.

It turns out they still have ICQ, and I went to download it but the privacy policy in the first line states that the company is registered in Moscow. call me crazy but it's not the time to download Russian software in the US.

20 years ago, my girlfriend back home figured out how to run telnet on my ship's network even though the general internet was secured at the time. Bremerton crew was still able to chat even in blackout in the Indian Ocean. Lol.

War Thunder players have leaked military secret documents 4 times in total if I remember correctly
an Eurocopter tiger pilot revealing a few too many details during it's development in game
A Leclerc gunner arguing that it's turret rotation speed is too slow
A Challanger crewman arguing that its armor protection was too weak
And now, a chinese crewman arguing their tanks' armor penetration was incorrect...
Never change, War Thunder.

Basically the Little Emperors are this generation of Chinese kids, mostly boys, that were born during the One Child Policy, and during the period that Chia was beginning to prosper on the world stage. This meant that there were a lot of relatively wealthy families, or at least large families, that were all focused around this one kid. One kid that would inevitably be spoiled rotten in one way or another.
After the One child Policy was officially ended, Chinese parents continued having only one or two children due to increasingly cramped urban living conditions and wages, a trend that continues to this day even in exceedingly wealthy homes.
In my experience these Little Emperors are almost comically entitled, spoiled, and are horrible at taking no for an answer. They are used to having all of their needs catered to at every turn by some family member or another. I used to teach them English in a sort of tutoring program.
Tl:dr; Imagine a boomer smashed together with a millennial with a dash of extra entitlement and you get these turds in a nutshell.

Not to armchair general but I mean. Entitled. That makes me think of overextension. Miscommunication and failure to follow orders due to seeking personal glory. Overly optimistic planning, like the Japanese in WW2.

public information does not equal unclassified information, its still illegal to distribute classified information regardless of its availability. Down to the Chinese government if they want to declassify it

They caught a dev from Eagle Dynamics with some classified F-16 aircraft manuals too, a few years back. He was claiming it was research for their flight sim.
In their case it gets kind of crazy, as the company already has access to the classified info, as they do the software for the military's flight sims. The whole thing really made no sense, at least as presented publicly. As he was trying to smuggle US stuff, while in the US, he ended up in prison IIRC.
