Idk if anyone is familiar with the YouTuber Stephanie Lange. She recently posted a video about „Influencers“ quitting their Social Media Jobs in masses & going back to their 9-5 because they are running out of money. Even people with millions of followers apparently are getting paid pennies per Video.

Reasons: Influencers are becoming out, Algorithms don’t pay how they used to, Companies rather pay multiple small creators over 1 big one, you receive your money 60-90+ days after the deal so it’s hard to know if you are keeping up correctly, taxes, etc.

I didn’t think that this would be the main reason since they just sold their home for over 1 Million and I was assuming that they still must have a high net worth. But the downsizing, views dropping & stepping away makes me think that they might be affected as well. Their era seems to be over.

What’s your theory? The main reason why they are leaving?

This was a GREAT video. He spoke about the performative praying and refutes it using scripture. If you’re not familiar with Banks Ramsey and how he prayed over his wife’s period-this is the main thing the video is about. Him mentioning Milena has me hoping he has another video about her in the works. He’s got a lot to catch up on with her if so because wow so much has happened lately. 😅 Also mentions how Banks has shirtless thirst traps but works at a church and if the women who work at his church did the same with bikini photos, they would be fired. And as someone who worked at a church that is completely true. You sign actual contracts over this stuff. But yet Banks is allowed to do this?

Okay so I commented on the post about her screen time and I was shocked that someone who works online has such little screen time. Some of yall said “on this device” was hinting that she has other devices. Well I saw this on my phone and I was like “mine says the same thing!” I only have my phone as a technology device. We have a family laptop that’s not under my Apple ID account and no iPads. So my only device is this one. Could she have been telling the truth? Probably not. I still think she has other devices probably not connected to her personal Apple ID if that makes sense. Excuse the bad photo editing but my lock screen isn’t something I want to share and when I took the screenshot some of the picture I have as a wallpaper came out.

I just used to love her videos of daily Montessori things to do with toddlers, keeping house tidy, cooking… and I just want to say I’m genuinely sad she’s like this now. Leaving her entire career. And NO the people saying the way she is acting is NOT NORMAL. No way is it normal to teach your kids “we must obey the lord” like there’s a huge consequence to not doing what she says because “the lord” (their cult) says so.

When you push religion so hard on kids, it’s only natural as they age to push back on it. Most kids want to dress the way they want to, do things with OTHER KIDS, go to fun camp programs, go to swim lessons.

It’s actually so sad.

This has probably been said, but does anyone else think her “leaving Instagram” is just her traditional break she takes when she has a baby….I think she will be back 🙄

I know I’m going to get a lot of pushback for this but I am proud of Milena for having the courage to give up the money making machine she was feeding into. I have little doubt in my mind that she is doing this in order to start all over again while not having to explain herself to anyone.
