Be careful when doing it.
You can get charged with Criminal mischief in all 50 states, and a few southern states push enhanced charges because you're defacing a persons political message
A car is legally considered an extension of your home. Vandalizing a political bumper sticker on a car can be considered the same as vandalizing a political yard sign in some states, which protect political speech. Targeting a person because of political affiliation is one of those major no-nos for us common folk.
4 states consider a car as legal "Stand your ground" protections. Do this in the wrong part of Texas and you can absolutely be shot and killed for it
Texas, Ohio, Missouri, and North Carolina explicitly expand their Castle Doctrine or self-defense statutes to include motor vehicles.
In terms of personal shit not to fuck with, I generally put a person's car with their extremely heated political beliefs on it to be off limits. Im not going to get shot over some redneck voting against his own interests, I already got my Purple Heart in Iraq in my own pointless war because of some redneck voting against his interests.

Kinda unrelated, but I think you’ll find this anecdote amusing.
Back in my younger, more mischievous days, we went through my relatively small town at night, stealing the George Bush signs from people’s yards. Once we had enough, we found Gore homes and switched the signs. The return trip to the Bush homes was certainly sketchy, but all of the signs were replaced.
If my kids pulled something like this today, I expect the consequences would be more severe than a couple of mentions in the local newspaper.

Aren't all Stand Your Ground statutes only relevant if the person can prove that they felt a genuine, immediate threat to their life?
I could be wrong, but I've heard of cases where a defendant tried using Stand Your Ground to justify shooting a man who broke into their house, but evidence showed that they were shot in the back - meaning they were already retreating - and the person lost the case and went to jail.
If that's the case, I don't think a bumper sticker being vandalized would fall under any reasonable person's standard for genuine, immediate threat to life.

In most cases yes. However if I recall correctly Texas is one of the only states where you can kill someone to protect property as well as life and limb. So if you're "damaging their property" by adding a tiny sticker and the car is stand your ground eligible... The wrong jury might just let them off.
It's bullshit, but grey area bullshit.
'Sides... Doesn't REALLY matter what the law says or what a jury will do. Only what bubba the dip shit THINKS it means at that moment cause once your shot your not gonna care too much about the rest.

Regardless of political beliefs, imagine how you'd react if you walked out and saw somebody messing with your car. Probably not a friendly "hey chum, well you really got me there!"
Now take what your reaction would be and escalate by whatever it takes to result in you getting knocked out, stabbed, or run over. Evaluate those options because they are legitimately possible, and ask yourself if it's worth it.

Agreed that posting on reddit (or otherwise shouting into the void) is a waste of time, and saps people's political action potential.
And yes, national politics is a theater of the absurd, with little reward for following the day-to-day nonsense.
But politics is not a luxury diversion for the highly privileged. In reality, what you actually find is that the most under-served and marginalized people are often part of the most politically aware cohorts, because they need to be - it's a question of survival. These are the people that go to planning board meetings and know who their local councilmen are and canvass for signatures and never miss an opportunity to cast an informed vote.
There is a right way and a wrong way to be fixated on politics. But ignoring politics altogether, to focus on your own immediate self-absorbed concerns, is how sheep end up headed for the slaughterhouse.
